Well the weather was great and so was the time the small group of us had at
Elmhirst.
Four of us enjoyed an one hour trail ride, with no bugs in sight.
The ride was going great until it dawned on yours truly that I hadn't closed my
flight plan with FSS. A check of the time show that I would have been long
over due and being 1/2 hour from the nearest phone meant that there was little
I could do about it. Of coarse FSS had called the resort and once assured that
we were down and safe closed the plan for me.
Following the horseback rideing we headed for the dinning room for a great
lunch and some better conversation. After lunch a
soak in the hot tub was called for, while some just laid around in the sun or
walk the trails around the resort. The crew in LIN stayed to
have the Roast Beef Dinner in the pub before heading out for home.
9:00 PM saw LIN fueled and hangered after a smooth return flight, and this time I closed my flight plan.
